Kevin was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma gastric cancer with Signet Cell and died within 24 days of this diagnosis. On the 24th of June Kevin Quinn XI will play against the Irish Defence Forces, who represent Ireland at an international level against the Defence Forces of other nations. The Kevin Quinn XI will be made up of Kevin’s sons, ex players of Kevin’s, friends of Kevin’s sons and some ex professional footballers of which will make for a great day out to mark a great occasion.
The two charities that will receive your donations are Tallaght Cancer Support Group & O.N.E Veterans Charity.
Tallaght Cancer Support Group offers support to people with a current cancer diagnosis and bereaved families. O.N.E Veterans Charity provides support, comradeship, advocacy and remembrance for Irish veterans.
Your donations will go to both these great causes by way of one of Kevin’s great passions in life - football.
