On the 23rd of November 2024, Ballyroan Playground Fundraising team will hold a Gala Event in the Manor Hotel. The funds from this event will be given to Ballyroan Community Development Group to assist with the development of the derelict site known locally as The Boys School (Main Street Ballyroan Co Laois). The development will include a Playground, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and additional parking.

Over the coming weeks Ballyroan will be a hive of activity with quizzes, sports days, live music & much more. All this effort is to raise funds for the new Ballyroan Playground on the site of the
former boy's school. Your support is much appreciated.

As part of the new Ballyroan playground development on the site of the vacant former school, there will be a new Donor Wall installed on site to acknowledge supporters of the Ballyroan Goes To Hollywood fundraiser. The particular fundraiser involves a Gala Night in November, along with a number of different individual fundraising events leading up to the night.

Families / households with donations from €100 can have their names included on the Donor wall if they so wish. Donations of €100 can be made to one movie / event or the donation of €100 can be split across up to 4 movies / events. This offer does not apply ticket sales for the Gala Night, or to donations under €25.
