OH MY GOD – Is this the Friends cast? Why yes, it is! We are Termonfeckin’s answer to New York’s favourite group of mates and could we BE any more excited about recreating one of the most loved TV shows!
Well, our hurling captain Peter Fortune certainly couldn’t wait to swap the sliotar & hurl with some dinosaurs remains as the slightly nerdy “Dr” Ross Geller!
Thespian himself Shane O’Keefe, who has been pinched from deep within neighbouring Blues country, has gone full method - eating nothing but sandwiches in his stretchy pants since taking on the role of Joey Tribbiani.
Unlike Chandler Bing, we actually know what Gareth Murphy does for a living! But he’s taking a break from laying tiles and fitting bathrooms and instead putting all his efforts into making us all laugh with his sarcastic comments & witty one liners.
Everyone will be asking their hairdresser for the ‘Rosie’ cut when they see Rosie Kerr take on the role of Rachel Green. She’ll be adding waitress & chief coffee maker to her bio on Sandpit House’s Airbnb home page.
Just like Monica Geller, Orla McEvoy loves nothing more than winning - something she’s well used to playing with the Fechin’s Ladies team. Although be careful if she ever suggests a game of Pictionary!
Beaulieu born Ciara Fritzsche definitely prefers dogs to smelly cats, unlike her character Phoebe Buffay. But like Phoebe she is ready for any eventuality, even when the phalanges go missing.
Alongside Ross, Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Monica & Phoebe, we have an amazing cast of family and friends helping to make our Fechin Friends a success. Rebecca Sexton, Bari Crinion, Leanne Devery, Zac Lennon, Seamus Meegan, Ria Meegan, Josh Murtagh, Maire Devine, Ellie Savage & Nicole Flynn are all making an appearance ready to ‘perk’ you up with their acting skills.
Could we BE any more serious about winning? Well, if you are interested in some canned laughs, a bit of romance (THEY WERE ON A BREAK!) and a trip down memory lane all neatly organised into a 10 min short which is sure to have you cackling with laughter and howling “Oh my Gawd” then Fechin Friends is for you!
