A native of Turloughmore in county galway he played hurling under age for the black and white and football for the neighbouring Claregalway club. Dancing was introduced in cregmore national school with cumpulsory 8 hand reel involvement
Arriving in NY in the 1980s football and dancing took a back step until the nineties when football returned with Astoria Gaels in Queens. He picked the wrong galway All Ireland final in 2001 when he went to hurling final while the footballers were crowned a few short weeks later as champions!
Working in manhattan for StructureTone for the last 20 years he travels three times a year to see family and friends in Galway and wish’s all the galway teams the very best in 2025!!
Roisin Quinn was born in queens NY to a mom Siobhan Donnelly from County Clare and a dad Eugene Kyne from County Galway.
Growing up in NY she frequented Gaelic Park on many the occasion , first to see Dad play and later to see her brothers play at all levels!
One of four with two brothers and a sister.
She spent her late teenage summers as a reverse J1 student, working in Clare and staying in Newmarket on Fergus with auntie Olive. Married to Kenny from Floral Park , they currently reside in ridgewood Queens while she teaches 1st grade in the NY public school system and studies for her Masters in Education.
