Act Details
Meet Colm Hooban, a 31-year-old Galway man who swapped the green fields of Woodford for the bright lights of Queens, NYC in April 2024. Why? Well, someone muttered something about "opportunities," and he figured, "Why not?" Now, he's loving life in the Big Apple—though let’s just say the cultural shock hit harder than a sliotar to the face.
A seasoned bartender with a decade of shaking and stirring under his belt (seven years in Ireland, two in Australia, and nearly one in NYC), Colm’s hobbies notably don’t include dancing. He retired early from playing hurling at 22—not due to injury, but due to "strategic laziness"—though he’s still a passionate supporter of Tommy Larkins Hurling Club.
Colm is stepping out of his comfort zone and onto the dance floor to raise money for Tommy Larkins Youth teams. So, whether he’s pouring pints or attempting pirouettes, Colm’s here to give it his best shot—cha-cha-chance it with him!
Siobhán Regan is a proud Mayo woman, yet Galway stole a piece of her heart when she earned her Bachelor of Science from NUIG! She even danced in the Musical Society’s rendition of “Disco Inferno”. After 10 unforgettable years in Chicago, Siobhán and her beloved dog Rua moved to NYC, in search of new opportunities and adventures. Since moving to the U.S.A in 2012, you can find her bartending, acting and working her magic as a Reiki Healing Practitioner. Most importantly, her career in Funeral Service and working with grieving families, makes her charity of choice without question, The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust
