About Event
Years of planning and hard work from all involved in Oldcastle Gfc led to land at Millbrook being purchased and a beautiful pitch and clubhouse being developed there which was officially opened in May 2010. Since then, Millbrook has been the heart of the club: a main pitch to be proud of, with the Gilson Park also in regular use, plus the beautiful new juvenile pitch and extended walking track and biodiversity gardens making Millbrook a place for all.
However, with the passage of time and the huge increase in player numbers, the clubhouse at Millbrook is now outdated, and a new clubhouse could offer so much more to the club. Oldcaste Gfc are in an ideal situation to avail of Sports Capital Funding towards this, as they have planning permission in place and all available funding has been applied for. We also have to fundraise towards the cost so we are proud to present the Oldcastle Gfc Strictly Come Dancing 2024!
The massive event will take place on the February Bank Holiday and we aim to pack The Kilmore Hotel to the rafters! 24 couples will put on a dance extravaganza, providing an amazing nights’ entertainment. It promises to be a huge night & we aim to make a good dent in the cost of our new clubhouse from all support received. Thank you so much for supporting our dancers in all their efforts!
