The Roaring Roosters are a couple of “eejits“ from Irvinestown, always game for a laugh. Joe Mahon, of the famous Mahon’s Hotel in Irvinestown and Liam Leonard, a well-known Auctioneer and Cattle dealer, are no newcomers to fundraising. The amount of work that these two gentlemen have accomplished over the decades for charity, is phenomenal. The fabulous Lady of the Lake Festival (of which Joe is one of the chief organisers and Liam a contributor to many events) is known throughout the North West; especially Joe’s “baby” the massive Truck Convoy, which attracts hundreds of lorries from all over Ireland.
The “Roaring Roosters” are backing Borderline Players in this very worthwhile cause. They have had many connections with the Drama group over the years and are delighted to help them continue the massive work they do for the community!

It will also ensure that Borderline Players can continue with the vital work that they have accomplished over the last 20 years.
